I will be running for positions on both the Homeowners Association (Board of Directors) and the Recreation Board. I would love to have your vote.
I moved from Ohio to South Carolina in 1998 and just bought my first home in Village Green after a 3 year long search for the perfect home. I’ve been in Village Green for a little over a year now and feel this is one of the best communities in West Ashley to purchase a home in.
I currently work at the MUSC Children’s Hospital and have been with MUSC for over 10 years. My current role as an Executive Administrative Assistant has given me the opportunity to expand my experience with many different projects: Construction and Design, Contract Negotiation, Budget and Cost Savings and Policies and Procedures. When I first moved to South Carolina and before my position at MUSC I worked at Kiawah Island Real Estate assisting five Real Estate Agents.
My last job in Ohio was working for The EPCON Group which is a developer, builder and property management company for condos. While working there I gained experience in many different areas including; sales, finance, contract writing and property management/community associations. I am familiar with By-laws, Covenants, ARB’s, community boards, association dues, meeting minutes and community recreation projects.
I choose to run for seats on both boards because I would like to see the new elected boards and the community working better as a team to make Village Green a highly desirable place to live. My goal is for more community involvement and events; reduction in expenses and more revenue coming in (without increasing association fees), better communication and better ways to communicate to the residents. I would love the opportunity to work with the elected board members to make this a desired community. That is why I’m asking for your vote.
You will be receiving a proxy form in the mail in the coming weeks. If you will not be attending the annual meeting (where the board members are chosen/announced) than I asked that you hand write my name in on this proxy form which will allow me to vote for you. However if you chose to attend this annual meeting I ask for your vote on the ballot
