Update From Village Green HOA
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
June 2011
The Board of Directors wanted to provide homeowners with the following update on the progress and challenges that the HOA is facing:
-Aquatic Management Services began managing our ponds and lagoons in March 2011 and has greatly improved the appearance and quality.
-The north fountain at the entrance has been approved for repair. The fountain should be operational by June 6, 2011.
-Pine straw has been installed at the entrance to our community.
-Due to ten percent of our owners being delinquent in paying their yearly assessments, the board has had to make tough financial decisions and delayed putting pine straw along West Bridge at this time. The delinquent owners owe the HOA $36,198.86. This has put a burden on the HOA to make its financial obligations.
Just a few friendly reminders:
-Please submit all modifications or alterations to your property to the ARB for review.
-Please clean up after your pets.
-Please park vehicles in your driveway. Parking on the street is a safety hazard for emergency vehicles and school buses.
-Please secure your trash when put on curb for pick-up. This will prevent trash from being blown throughout the neighborhood.
-Please release all fish caught in the ponds back into the ponds. The grass carps help to reduce the vegetation and keep the ponds healthy.
-Please properly store boats and trailers on your property.
-Please do not disturb the wildlife. Enjoy them but remember this is their home too.
-Please maintain exterior of your home and yard.

I’d like to give a big “Thank You” to the pond guy. He has made the ponds look better than I have ever seen them. I’m sure he has new challenges with this lack of rain. Please know you are appreciated.

Please email me in the future if you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding the management of your lagoons. Yes, the low water levels are a normal summertime issue to deal with.
